Chicago Tonight: The Week In Review
A big battle over the $3 billion Cook County raged into the middle of the night. Ultimately, Cook County Commissioners and Board President Todd Stroger reached a comprise deal to reduce the $500 shortfall by cutting 1,000 county employees. Tuesday is election day and we look at the Mayor's race as well as some of the hottest aldermanic races. Barack Obama's Hollywood heavyweight friends are drawing the Illinois Senator and presidential hopeful into a fight with presidential candidate and New York Senator Hillary Clinton. And in sports, a sellout crowd watched Chief Illiniwek's last dance. While Lovie Smith contract negotiations breakdown with the Bears after the coach cuts his possible replacement, Ron Rivera.
