Jennifer Companik is a freelance fiction writer and Northwestern University graduate student living deep in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband and four-year-old son. Jennifer is a past and future high school English and ESOL teacher. She loves good books, learning new languages, and going places where they don't speak English. Estela Melgoza
Estela Melgoza is the coordinator of the Latina Leadership Program at Mujeres Latinas en Acción. The program seeks to help empower Latina women, facilitate their leadership development, and guide them through community involvement to create social and systematic change. Estela holds a B.A. in Applied Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is near the completion of both an M.A. in Community Counseling and an Illinois state license as a professional counselor.
