The University of Chicago Press announced that it will publish First Son: The Biography of Richard M. Daley, by Keith Koeneman in Spring 2013. The book features more than 100 exclusive interviews.

Keith Koeneman is a third-generation Chicagoan who has completed hundreds of hours of interviews with significant people from Daley’s life and career. He has a master’s degree in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, a JD from Northwestern University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He lives in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.
