I believe the job training program will be quite beneficial to my needs, in order for me to to return to workforce. My last job of employmet was in management.

Thank God I came across the segment on Chicago Tonight after midnight. This is the answer to my search.

I emailed them about their programs. I qualify in everyway but one I was not unemployed at the "right time" and after was self-employed which never counts because you don't have that "last paycheck stub" nor do you get unemployment benefits if you are selfemployed. The program sounds great but it honestly leaves out a alot of people who don't meant the "january 2008" rule which apparently is new. The economy started to lay people off as early as 2007 - what about those people? The ones who never got an extension - what about small business owners who have no UI benefits? Some of us are even overqualifed for the training but because of technical "date issues" we can not be accepted into these program. It is like another form of long term unemployed discrimination. I thought this was the answer to my search too - I was quite crush when I found I out that I don't even qualify for THIS. Why are so many restrictions put on people who need help? People are people. I can't help it when I was laid off.
