Beautiful photos and story. Well told. Thank you.

Neighborhood/City:
Schaumburg (Suburbs)

A wonderfully presented piece on this magnificent bird. Thank you for bringing to light some of the difficulties snowy owls face when pushed this far south. A hearty and majestic raptor, yet quite vulnerable in this unusual urban setting. A special thanks to Jerry Goldner (amazing photos, wow!) and Josh Engel for sharing their knowledge and experiences with these arctic visitors. Lets hope that we all heed their advise and give these owls their space. Admire them at a respectful distance.
