Expecting a tax refund from the state? Well, a new city ordinace may divert that money to City Hall. We talk with some Chicago aldermen about that, and other developments at today's City Council meeting on Chicago Tonight at 7:00 pm.

Alderwoman Pat Dowell (3rd Ward) said on Chicago Tonight (2/15/2012): "Well, I looked at some of the data. The mayor's office has shown that over a five-year period, there were over 900 crashes that involved young children around parks and schools."

Has anyone seen this data from the mayor's office? Where is this information available? The stats of 900 children involved in crashes in 5 years sounds too inflated.
