NATO Protesters Go To Court

At an appeal hearing Tuesday, Chicago officials stood by their decision to deny protesters a permit to march through the Loop on the first day of the NATO summit. The city had already approved a permit for the day before, but now said they would not have enough on-duty officers on May 20 to monitor the march.

Activist Andy Thayer says this is the city's way of silencing anti-war voices and that protesters will hit the street May 20 with or without a permit.
