Still recovering from his January stroke, Sen. Mark Kirk sent a video message to the Illinois delegation at the Republican National Convention in Tampa. 

Kirk said he was sorry he "really wished I could be with you today" in the message, which was played for the delegation during breakfast Tuesday. 

This is the first video of Kirk released since May, when he showed his recovery process at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.
