Remembering Wayne Miller

Photographer Wayne Miller, whose work captured life on Chicago's South Side and war in the South Pacific, died yesterday at age 94. The Chicago native took indelible portraits of everyday Chicagoans, marked by a humane approach to his subjects. We spoke with Miller in 2009 during a visit to Chicago, and asked about photographing Franklin Delano Roosevelt's funeral among other things. Watch the full 2009 Artbeat Chicago special featuring Miller.
