Dan Rutherford

After months of speculation, Illinois Treasurer Dan Rutherford officially threw his name in the ring as the GOP gubernatorial candidate. Rutherford was a member of the Illinois House from 1993-2002 and served in the Illinois Senate from 2003-2010. He then took the helm of the Illinois Treasurer's office. He was the only Republican to vote for civil unions during his time in the General Assembly. He joins us on Chicago Tonight at 7:00 pm to explore why he has decided to run for Governor of Illinois.
