Friends & Colleagues Remember Bernie Sahlins

Bernie Sahlins died at the age of 90 this past weekend. The important figure in American comedy who mentored John Belushi, John Candy, Gilda Radner and Bill Murray also worked early on with Alan Arkin, Mike Nichols and Elaine May. The co-founder of The Second City may not be a household name, but people who know theater and know comedy are well aware of his influence.

Joining us on Chicago Tonight at 7:00 pm to remember Sahlins' legacy are friends and colleagues, Sheldon Patinkin, longtime director and theater professor; Martha Lavey, Artistic Director of Steppenwolf Theatre Company; and Matt Hovde, Artistic Director of The Second City Training Center.
