Chicago Tonight Correspondent Elizabeth Brackett is currently in Nairobi, not far from Westgate Shopping Mall, the site of a terrorist attack launched by Islamic radicals that killed dozens of shoppers and injured more than 170 people.
Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatt says the four-day attack is now over, as officials declared that all hostages being held at the mall are now free. They also claimed that the Kenyan military had taken over control of the shopping center from al-Shabaab militants.
Brackett spoke with Margaret Muriuki, a Nairobi travel agent, about the mall violence. Watch the interview below.
