Chicago Tonight: The Week in Review: 9/27


On this edition of Chicago Tonight: The Week in Review with Joel Weisman, four arrests were made in the brutal shooting of 13 people in a Back of the Yards park. Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy calls it a clear example of why the state needs to change gun laws. Former Cook County Commissioner and Chicago Ald. William Beavers is sentenced to six months in prison, while former Ald. Ambrosio Medrano gets his third corruption conviction. The Chicago Teachers Union blasts Chicago Public Schools for finding millions of dollars to build and rehab schools just months after closing 50 schools. Confusion abounds as ObamaCare is set to debut. And in sports, the 3-0 Bears head to division rival Detroit as underdogs.
