Tio Hardiman on Run for Governor

Tio Hardiman joins us, along with his running mate, to talk about his run for Illinois governor. So far, Hardiman is the lone Democratic challenger to incumbent Gov. Pat Quinn. Hardiman is best known for his work with CeaseFire, an organization focused on combating violence in Chicago. He officially announced his bid for Illinois governor on Aug. 17, 2013 and announced his running mate, Brunell Donald, on Sept. 4. Though he has no formal political experience, Hardiman’s platform includes providing more resources for schools, boosting the economy, and bringing an end to corruption in Illinois.
