Wright's Winslow House

After being fired by Louis Sullivan and venturing out on his own, Frank Lloyd Wright landed his first independent commission from a friend. And now the house that Wright designed for William Winslow in 1893 is up for sale for the first time in nearly 50 years.

We revisit a look inside the River Forest house, and talk with Peter Walker, whose parents bought the landmark home in 1958. View a slideshow of photos from the realtor’s gallery of the Winslow House.
