Remarkable Tower Restored

It was a center of innovation and commerce for 32 years. And then it went dark and unused for another 32 years. But during all that time, the SC Johnson Research Tower in Racine, Wis., never stopped being an architectural marvel.

It was one of Frank Lloyd Wright's final masterpieces. Starting Friday, the Tower will be opened to the public for the first time ever following a major restoration. But recently, Chicago Tonight was given an exclusive preview tour. As Eddie Arruza tells us, it may be worth your while to make a special trip just north of the border.
