Race for Governor Heats Up


We’re at the six-month mark to the General Election and the gubernatorial race is heating up. Recently, Gov. Pat Quinn's anti-violence program came under scrutiny for mismanagement of funds and possibly improper political influence. GOP candidate Bruce Rauner is in the news as the private equity firm he formerly chaired, GTCR, is said to have orchestrated a "bust out" scheme, according to documents filed in federal court.
