President Obama Signs LGBT Non-Discrimination Order

President Obama signed an executive order on Monday, July 21 banning discrimination against LGBT employees of federal contractors and the federal government. The executive order has two parts: it's now illegal to fire or harass an employee based on his or her sexual orientation or gender identity; and discrimination against transgender employees is banned. The president did not include a religious exemption in the order. Mary Anne Case of the University of Chicago Law School joins us on Chicago Tonight to discuss the order and its future impact.
