Discussing the New Archbishop Selection

On Saturday morning, Cardinal Francis George introduced his successor, Bishop Blase Cupich, saying he was “well-prepared” for the responsibilities of leading the church. Cupich, who will formally take over on Nov. 18, has been described by some in the Catholic media as a “moderate." The Rev. Don Senior, president emeritus of the Catholic Theological Union, Dan Cheely, vice president of "Catholic Citizens of Illinois" and the founder of the "Chicago Church History Forum," and Chicago Tonight reporter Paris Schutz, who was at the announcement on Saturday, discuss the significance of Cupich’s appointment and what makes him a “moderate.”
