The Art of Aging Well

It's said that with age comes wisdom, but unfortunately that wisdom is accompanied by a long list of possible age-related health issues. Local experts weigh in on how to maintain your health into your senior years on Thursday, Feb. 5 at 6:00 pm at Northwestern University's downtown Hughes Auditorium. The event is called How to be Healthy When You're Older.

We get a preview from the three panelists for the event: Wojtek Chodzko‑Zajko, the Shahid and Ann Carlson Khan Professor in Applied Health Sciences and Head of the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; William Dale, Associate Professor of Medicine and the Section Chief of Geriatrics & Palliative Medicine at the University of Chicago; and Louise Hawkley, a Senior Research Scientist with the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago. Chicago Tonight Special Correspondent Elizabeth Brackett will serve as moderator of the event.
