While we just wrapped up planting our first round of crops, we’re already looking ahead to our summer planting. Once again we’re asking viewers to help us select some of the crops based on Nolan’s recommendations. The crops listed below are the ones she’s decided to plant in the WTTW garden.

Turkish Orange Eggplant
This beautiful heirloom eggplant is three inches round, with a very sweet and flavorful flesh.

Tricolor Bush Beans
These beans are a rainbow of flavor and color in the garden and at the table.

Nasturtium
The leaves, pods, and flowers are all edible, with a slight peppery taste. They are used in salads and as a garnish.

Sweet Alyssum
This flower grows 8-16 inches tall and attracts beneficial insects.

Help us choose which crops to plant for the summer. Vote in our interactive polls through May 18.
