Chicago Tonight: The Week in Review, Sept. 4

On this edition of Chicago Tonight: The Week in Review with Joel Weisman, our panel of guests discuss state and local politics, education, sports, and more.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel proposes a record property tax hike to deal with the city's massive pension problems. Hunger strikers remain unsatisfied despite CPS' decision to reopen Dyett High School as an arts-themed neighborhood school. The fatal shooting of veteran Fox Lake police officer Charles Joseph Gliniewicz garners national attention. Oakbrook-based McDonald's will launch all-day breakfast in an effort to boost sales.
