Alton Brown, that wizard of all things science and food, will perform a one-night only show in Chicago this spring.
Perhaps best known for his show "Good Eats" on The Food Network, Brown has also authored multiple cookbooks, including the James Beard award-winning "I'm Just Here for the Food." He's since gone on to host another Food Network show: "Cutthroat Kitchen," in which four chefs compete for cash.
His latest touring show "Eat Your Science" features puppets, songs, "bigger and potentially more dangerous experiments," and of course, one the chef's favorite's: fire.
"Eat Your Science" plays May 7, one night only at the Cadillac Theater, 151 W. Randolph St. Tickets range from $25-$75 and go on sale Friday at Broadway in Chicago.
