Smoking Popes
Three brothers from suburban Carpentersville founded one of the most unique sounding bands to hit the music scene in the early 1990's. They called themselves "Smoking Popes" and their distinctive blend of punk-rock guitars and crooner-style vocals helped shape a new generation of music fans. The band split-up in 1998 and recently reunited for their first performance in 7 years. Band members Josh and Eli Caterer joins us tonight to tell us about their new live CD and perform for us.
