Update on Cardinal George's Health
Cardinal Francis received good news from his pathologist today in the wake of his surgery last week. Rich Samuels tells us why the Cardinal's doctors are now calling him a "cancer survivor" rather than a "cancer victim".

News Analysis with Carol Marin
Israel resumes air strikes before its 48-hour suspension of bombing ends. The self-imposed break came after more than 50 civilians were reportedly killed in Southern Lebanon. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice left the region claiming that a United Nations Security Council ceasefire framework is in place. Carol Marin hears from University of Chicago professor John Mearsheimer and Rabbi Ira Youdovin on the situation overseas.

Trans Fats
Chicago Alderman Edward Burke has proposed a city ordinance that would make it illegal for most restaurants to use cooking oils containing more than 2% of trans fats. Restaurants say the Chicago City Council ought to get out of their kitchens. Elizabeth Brackett has the story.
