Gov. Quinn's Labor Battles Follow Him to the DNC

Just two weeks after being booed off stage on Governor’s Day at the Illinois State Fair, Gov. Pat Quinn’s labor battles are keeping up with him in Charlotte. The state’s largest union of public service workers, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Council 31, debuted a new anti-Quinn mobile billboard at the governor’s campaign fundraiser Monday evening. The billboard highlights Quinn’s pension cuts, layoffs and attacks on collective bargaining, and will make various stops around Charlotte. A letter was sent out Monday afternoon to the entire Illinois delegation laying out the governor’s record.
