Chicago Tonight: The Week in Review: 6/21

On this edition of Chicago Tonight: The Week in Review with Joel Weisman at 7:00 pm, as Chicago Public Schools end the school year, some will never reopen. Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s massive school closure plan takes effect, leaving mostly minority neighborhoods reeling. A special legislative session on pension reform passes the ball to a new bipartisan conference committee charged with hammering out a bill. Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bill Daley lashes out at a lack of leadership in Springfield. Also, while Chicago tourism numbers are up overall, it remains 10th among American cities as a destination for foreigners. And in sports, the Blackhawks Stanley Cup Final thrill ride continues, with a 6-5 overtime win in Boston.
