Randolph Street's Holiday Market, an art show in Bucktown, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s holiday concert; Chicago Tonight knows what’s going on this weekend.
This weekend, more than 100 artists will display and sell their work at the Bucktown Holiday Art Show. The 15th annual show will feature a wide range of creations, including ceramics, photography, watercolors, oils, jewelry, textiles, and more. The show takes place at the Holstein Park Field House on Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Snow Much Fun at the Chicago Children’s Museum
This year’s Snow Much Fun exhibit at the Chicago Children’s Museum gives kids a chance to enjoy some winter activities -- without getting cold. While exploring the indoor exhibit, kids can slide around on the urban rink, (designed for sock-footed skaters), have a family-friendly snowball fight with fluffy “snow,” and dress up a snowman. Randolph Street's Holiday Market
Browse for unique gifts this weekend at the Randolph Street Holiday Market. During the two-day event, vendors will present a wide range of treasures, “in all price ranges, from thrifty to extravagant.” Shoppers can purchase sweets, antiques, stocking stuffers, jewelry, art and more. The market, which takes place indoors, is open on Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets cost $8, and parking in the Plumbers Hall lot is free.
