Brandon MarshallMarshall Touchdown

Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall scored on a six-yard touchdown pass from Jay Cutler during the Bears opening drive against the Packers. The touchdown reception was Marshall’s 28th as a member of the Bears, breaking a tie with Willie Gault for seventh most in franchise history. Marshall now has a touchdown reception in four-straight contests against the Packers. He’s the first Bears player to do so since James Scott from 1976-1978.

Bears Rush for 235 Yards

The Chicago Bears rushed for 235 yards on 41 carries against Green Bay on Sunday. It was the most rushing yards for the Bears since recording 242 yards on Sept. 25, 1988 at Green Bay. It was also the most rushing yards recorded in a Chicago loss since the Bears rushed for 283 yards against Dallas on Sept. 30, 1984.

Matt ForteForte Hits 10,000 Career Yards

Bears running back Mate Forte had 171 yards from scrimmage against the Packers, bringing his career total to 10,037 yards. Forte is the second player in Bears history to reach 10,000 yards from scrimmage. He joins Hall of Famer Walter Payton, who had 21,264.

No Punts

Neither the Bears nor the Packers punted in Sunday’s matchup, marking the second time in NFL history that neither team punted during a regular season game. The first time occurred on Sept. 13, 1992 during a contest between Buffalo and San Francisco.
