When Illinois congressional district lines were last redrawn in 2011, then-U.S. Rep. Bob Dold found himself living outside of the district he represented.
“When he wins he will move into the new 10th,” Dold’s District Director Kelley Folino told Libertyville Patch in 2011.
In late 2012, following his loss, Dold bought a 3,044-square-foot house in Kenilworth, Ill. According to the Chicago Tribune, the home was built in 1957 and previously belonged to Dold’s parents. The home is currently located in Illinois’ 9th District, represented by U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky.
In 2014, both Dold and Schneider ran unopposed in their respective March primaries.
