Lawmakers Head Back to Work

The rancorous Springfield legislative session that was supposed to end in May continues with partisan battles over the budget and Gov. Bruce Rauner's so-called turnaround agenda. Legislators go back to work in Springfield on Tuesday, and we hear the latest from assistant majority leader Elaine Nekritz (D-57th District) and Rep. David McSweeney (R-52nd District).

In this web extra video, Carol Main asks Nekritz and McSweeney about the possibility of a shutdown and a compromise between Rauner and legislators.
