Cardinal Blase Cupich on His Elevation

Last month, Archbishop Blase Cupich traveled to Vatican City for his elevation to cardinal.

The leader of the 2.3 million Catholics in the Archdiocese of Chicago not only met with Pope Francis, he presented him with a Chicago Cubs baseball and cap.

Cardinal Cupich joins host Eddie Arruza to discuss ongoing efforts to revitalize and reorganize the local Catholic Church, bringing Pope Francis’ message back to Chicago, and how the church can help Chicago address violence after 2016’s drastic spike in homicides.
