When you talk on the phone, it is illegal for someone to listen in on your calls. But your internet provider essentially listens in on every click you make online. 

Last October, the Federal Communications Commission issued new rules that essentially said internet providers needed your permission to sell your personal browsing history. 

President Donald Trump on Monday signed a bill throwing out those rules.
