David Broza on Building Bridges with Musical Artistry

He has been called “The Bruce Springsteen of Israel.” But unlike the Boss, David Broza can sing in four languages and plays a mean flamenco guitar.

For more than 20 years, Broza has performed sunrise concerts at the ancient fortress Masada, including one recorded by WTTW a few years ago. The annual concerts are highly anticipated events that have included guest artists such as Jackson Brown and Steve Earl.

Video: Broza performs "East Jerusalem, West Jerusalem" in the “Chicago Tonight” studio.
