Illinois Eyes Sports Betting Revenue as Supreme Court Lifts Ban


In a 6-3 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday decided to strike down a federal law banning sports gambling in most states.

New Jersey brought the case to the high court, but the decision has implications for others states, like Illinois, that could see new revenue opportunities in taxes from sports betting.
