Free Summer Workouts in Millennium Park Return June 2-Sept. 1

There are plenty of opportunities to get fit this summer with free 45-minute workouts on the Great Lawn at Millennium Park.

Classes begin on the hour from 7-10 a.m. Saturdays from June 2 through Sept. 1 and include instruction in yoga, cardio, Pilates, Zumba and strength-training. Yoga is also offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. All classes are free. Bring your own equipment and water.

Saturday, June 2: Chicago Gospel Music Festival

7 a.m.: Yoga with Marta Bailey 

8 a.m.: Cardio workout with Javid Jenkins

9 a.m.: Strength-training workout with LaTonya Ellis

10 a.m.: Zumba with East Bank Club

Gospel, Latin and popular music will be played during workouts.

Tuesdays, June 5-26

7:30-8:15 a.m.: Yoga with Marta Bailey
