I depend on Chicago Tonight to provide a comprehensive anaysis of each day's news; and Week in Review for a summary and insightful discussion of major events that occured during the week. When the huge news broke early Friday that Congressman Jessese Jackson Jr. was charged by federal proscutors, I could hardly wait to listen to the analysis of this development by panelist that evening. What a stunning disappointment to tune in and hear absolutely nothing about this huge national story with significant local implications. By prebroadcasting early in the day, the station totally blew it, missed this major story, and lost credibity and relevance. Or are there other reasons this important story was omitted?
