Brief Bio Dr. Faisal M. Rahman is the Founding Dean of the Graham School of Management at Saint Xavier University of Chicago, Illinois, USA. As a tenured Professor of Management, Dr. Rahman areas of interest and teaching are Managerial Economics, Strategic Management and Global Environment of Business. Dr. Rahman has an undergraduate honors degree in Economics from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and Ph.D. in International Finance from Saint Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Dr. Rahman has also done post graduate continuing education work at University of Chicago and University of Wisconsin. Dr. Rahman has had concurrent careers in the corporate world and academia. He has held senior management positions in NYSE listed companies and is currently CEO of the APAC group of healthcare companies. Dr. Rahman is a published author of text books and many articles in academic and professional journals. Dr. Rahman has served as adviser to City of Chicago and worked with the World Bank on projects in less developed countries. In addition, he has served in the Boards of Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development Commissions and volunteer groups like Y-ME, the advocacy organization for breast cancer victims.
