After almost 14 years on the Magnificent Mile, the Apple store is making a move to the Chicago River. But the company is hoping its retail location will be more than just a store.

Tonight: A preview of Apple Michigan Avenue that officially opens to the public Friday, with a celebration at 5 p.m.
