“Chicago Tonight: Latino Voices” host Joanna Hernandez spoke to those working directly with Chicago’s unhoused population to understand what work is being done, the barriers to finding help and some possible solutions.

This discussion was held in partnership with WTTW’s FIRSTHAND: Homeless series, a year-long initiative to uncover the issues unhoused individuals face, in order to create discussion and explore solutions.

Joining the discussion was Jose Muñoz, executive director of La Casa Norte, Marty Castro, president and CEO of Casa Central, and Raul Gonzalez, a founding member of the Ojala Foundation, Latino Muslims of Chicago.

Join us on March 25 for the next WTTW News Community Conversation. To RSVP, visit wttw.com/events.
