Good Food Festival Celebrates Locally Grown, Sustainable Food

The Good Food Festival and Conference is celebrating its 13th anniversary this year. And as a special treat, festival admission is free on Saturday (with online registration). The event takes place Thursday through Saturday at UIC Forum on the campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Tickets vary for admission on Thursday and Friday. Go here for complete details.

Joining us to talk about what kind of food, retailers and celebrity chef speakers you’ll see this year is Jim Slama, founder of FamilyFarmed, a nonprofit organization focused on locally grown and responsibly produced food that’s presenting the fest.
